This road is set against Lake Wakatipu and its surrounding mountains. Driving through Glenorchy, you’ll come across horse treks and you can always stop for a walk at Mt Aspiring National Park. It’s just a 40 minute drive from Queenstown and there are plenty of rest stops for photos.
