This windy road leads to Piha, Titirangi, Huia and Whatipu. The speed limit is 100 km/hr (open rd) but you have to slow right down at many tight corners. When you reach the top of the hill to Piha there are a couple of good photo spots to capture the view and get out of your car to stretch your legs with a leisurely walk along the beach.
Tip - driving down the Scenic Drive hill is very steep, so use some engine braking to take some of the wear off your brakes.
